Just like last year, we went the whole family to Visby on the island of Gotland (Sweden). We packed two cars and took the ferry over to the island and rented last years house again.

Gotland is a beautiful island, very much so during the summer. Beaches, tons of raukar (sea stacks) and old buildings that one can get lose time and film rolls with. I packed the Hasselblad with Tri-X and lots of 400H, charged the batteries for the X-Pro 2 and headed out exploring.

As my film lab deserve some summer vacation (we’re really big on taking long vacations during the summer in Sweden) I’ll most likely not get my negatives back from the lab until the beginning of August. But I don’t mind the wait as long as you support your local film lab.
