Spent a couple of days in Eskilstuna – the city where I grew up in the 80’s. Visiting friends, experiencing the hottest day this summer, played golf, ate some food and shot some photos.
We stayed at my parents house as they spent the week in Italy, like every summer. And I had a little mission. To shoot in black and white to get my mind thinking more about shadows and light. And with Fujifilms X-E2, it’s easy. You can look at world in black and white and get your head in the right mood after just a couple of minutes.
As usual, I walked around with Fujinons 35mm/1.4 and 27mm/2.8. But I started to play with their 18-55mm/2.8 lens, something I haven’t done in a long while. The 35 and 27mm pretty much meets my needs….
In a couple of days I’m starting at a new agency in Stockholm. My thought, in short, is – should I get the X100s and keep it next to my laptop at all time? I remember all the fun situations I got caught in at my previous agency and regretting not carrying a camera.
Should I get it? Or should I get another lens?
