Streets from the hip, on the move – a bad choice

Brighton, UK. I flew over for two days with colleagues to attend a conference about digital marketing and decided to bring the Ricoh GR II. I tried some street shots from the hip, as I was walking – and that was a really bad choice.

Yeah. I messed up.

I’ve tried the Ricoh GR II previously shooting from the hip with pretty decent results. But this time, having little time to review shots between conference sessions, lunch breaks with colleagues and dinner plans – I failed hard. I switched from Automatic, which have worked great in the past, to Program. And so I am left with these blurry things below.

Lesson learned: check the damn settings before using a camera.
